Dataminers have also found evidence that could point to the identity of these potential Mortal Kombat 11 DLC fighters. Evidence suggests that Ash Williams from Army of Darkness could be one, along with Fujin and Sheeva. The rest of the potential Mortal Kombat 11 DLC characters remain a mystery at this point, though there is one other guest character that is strongly rumored to be coming to the game.

Mortal Kombat 11 dataminers have found a character with the first three letters “ROB” in their name, which has led some to think that RoboCop is coming to the game. This speculation seems to be due to Mortal Kombat 11 already having 80s movie characters like The Terminator in the game, and the fact that no pre-existing Mortal Kombat characters have “rob” in their name. Others think that it’s just placeholder for one of the cyborg characters to come to Mortal Kombat 11, like Cyrax and Sektor, as they already appear in the story mode.

If this leak is accurate and Mortal Kombat 11 is truly adding 11 more DLC characters, then that would imply that there’s at least two more Kombat Packs in store for fans of the fighting game. Mortal Kombat 11 Kombat Pack 1 consisted of six DLC characters, so the next two will apparently consist of five and six characters apiece.

Of course, it’s also possible that this leak is inaccurate and Mortal Kombat 11 isn’t getting 11 new DLC characters. Really fans won’t know for sure until NetherRealm itself decides to share more information about its future plans for Mortal Kombat 11, and it’s hard to say when that may be. However, MK11 game director Ed Boon has teased more surprises coming this year, so it’s possible official announcements will come sooner rather than later.

With the MK11 Spawn DLC now available to the masses, there’s currently no announced new characters for the game. It will be interesting to see if NetherRealm decides to reveal new characters one at a time, or if it will reveal a full Kombat Pack 2.

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
