This is exactly what this Mortal Kombat 11 achievement guide will address. That said, players that want to know how to get severed heads in MK11 should be warned that the process can take some time.
How to Get Severed Heads in Mortal Kombat 11
As mentioned, obtaining the Skull Kabob MK11 trophy requires players to collect MK11 severed heads. In order to do this, players must execute Mortal Kombat 11 Fatalities 50 times against the same opposing character in any Towers of Time game mode. The character a player chooses to use to get these Fatalities does not matter, and they can even switch characters between Fatalities, but the 50 do need to be done against the same character, and in Towers, to get severed heads in MK11.
While this is a relatively straightforward task, it can be time consuming, and there are some tips that can help speed-up the Skull Kabob achievement. To start, navigate to the “Gameplay” section of the menu and change the “Rounds to Win” to 1. This will make it faster to reach the point of executing a Fatality, thus expediting MK11 achievements.
Now, it is advisable to navigate to the Survivor Towers within Klassic Towers, an area of the Mortal Kombat 11 Towers of Time. From here, a player can look at the bottom tier of the Towers for the character they want to Fatality 50 times. If that character is not available on the bottom tier, players can leave and reenter the Klassic Towers to shuffle the opponents until the desired character is in position.
Players can now select one of their preferred Mortal Kombat 11 characters, set the difficulty to “Very Easy,” and get their Fatality. At this point, fans should advance to the next fight in the Tower, hit pause to access the menu, navigate to “Tower Select,” and hit “Confirm.” This will bump the player back to the first fight, and the process can be repeated to quickly accumulate the 50 Fatalities required for MK11 trophies.
Once the 50 Fatalities have been executed, players will receive MK11 severed heads as a reward. They can now visit the Warrior Shrine in the Mortal Kombat 11 Krypt and impale the head in front of the corresponding carving to get the Skull Kabob trophy in MK11.
Alternatively, players can use an AI to farm Mortal Kombat 11 trophies for them. Indeed, Mortal Kombat 11 AI will often execute Fatalities, but players may find that it is not quite as consistent as using the method outlined above.
Mortal Kombat 11 is out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
