Fans have been anxiously awaiting more details about Mortal Kombat 11’s Nightwolf DLC for some time now. Game Director Ed Boon has offered a few brief glimpses at the upcoming downloadable character, but there hasn’t been that much substance to the early teases. However, fans will finally get a full look at Nightwolf tomorrow, when his gameplay trailer finally releases.
The official Mortal Kombat 11 Twitter posted one final teaser today, offering a brief glance at Nightwolf’s face covered in war paint. There isn’t much to go off of for that teaser in general, but it should get fans excited for the full reveal tomorrow. After all, Nightwolf has been a fan-favorite character since his debut in Mortal Kombat 3, and there were some fans disappointed that he never made an appearance in Mortal Kombat X.

Gameplay trailers leading up to Mortal Kombat 11’s release usually consisted of roughly two minutes of gameplay, and it seems likely that the Nightwolf reveal will be pretty much the same. Needless to say, the gameplay will probably be pretty bloody, with a few glamour shots of Nightwolf’s iconic tomahawk almost being guaranteed. The first footage of Nightwolf offered a brief glance, but this is sure to be more hearty.
Ed Boon has been teasing fans quite a bit over on Twitter, both for Nigthwolf and other characters. The industry veteran has made a pretty entertaining game of messing with fans, offering both legitimate clues as to who future DLC fighters could be, as well as a healthy amount of trolling, much to the chagrin of fans. Most recently, he posted a photo to Twitter that seemed to indicate a potential John Wick DLC for Mortal Kombat 11.
A recent data mine has suggested that Mortal Kombat 11 will have 19 DLC characters. With just a few revealed so far, it begs the question of just who may make their way to the game in the future. The possibilities are pretty much endless, and rumored characters have included everyone from Ash from The Evil Dead, to The Joker from Batman. Fans will have to wait to see which characters turn out to be real, but at least they have Nightwolf to look forward to in the meantime.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
