There’s no better time to pick up Mortal Kombat 11 than now. The fighting game’s latest DLC character was only just recently announced. Nightwolf, one of the franchise’s most storied characters, is returning to the roster for the first time since the 2011 iteration of Mortal Kombat. Nightwolf is one of four DLC characters confirmed as part of Mortal Kombat 11’s Kombat Pack, alongside Shang Tsung, Sindel, and guest fighter Spawn. Two more guest characters will also be included and are rumored to be Ash from Evil Dead and the Terminator.
Mortal Kombat 11 was measured as the best selling game of 2019 in the United States as of mid-June. Mortal Kombat 11’s sales passed the previous number one, Kingdom Hearts 3, which held the spot over heavy hitters like The Division 2, Anthem, and Resident Evil 2. With great sales like today’s Best Buy offering, it looks like Mortal Kombat 11 may hold that top sales spot at least a little while longer.
Mortal Kombat 11 is available now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version also in development.
