Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered (March 2019) Sonic Forces (March 2020) Shadow of the Colossus (March 2020) Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 (June 2018) Destiny 2 (September 2018)

Notably, while PlayStation Plus has been offering free monthly games since June 2012, all five of the most-redeemed titles were made available through the service within the last two years. Furthermore, March 2020 was quite clearly a standout month for PS Plus subscribers, of which Sony indicates there are 41.5 million, as both of the free titles from that time frame find themselves on the list.

Details on the most-redeemed titles are not all that Sony has shared as part of its brief PS Plus retrospective, though, as the company has also revealed the top five online multiplayer games. This list is up-to-date as of April 2020, and here it is for fans that are curious:

Grand Theft Auto 5 Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Destiny Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

Considering the truly staggering lifetime sales of Grand Theft Auto 5, it is not extremely shocking to see it at to the top of this list. It is also not particularly surprising to see Call of Duty claim two spots, at it is simply one of the most popular video game franchises ever. Even still, many fans are sure to enjoy perusing these lists that have been prepared in celebration of PS Plus’s anniversary.
