PlayStation owners with a PS Plus subscription will have several more Trophy lists to work on too, and a few in particular provide some satisfying hunts. With the games on offer spanning a wide variety of genres, Trophy lovers with vastly different preferences should be able to find something that appeals to them.

Most Rewarding Trophies to Unlock in December 2022’s Essential PS Plus Games
The December 2022 lineup for PlayStation Plus’ Essential Tier did not disappoint, as players essentially got access to five games in the same month. Divine Knockout’s unique third-person perspective makes it an interesting game that could appeal to even those who do not consider themselves platform fighting fans, and Trophy hunters looking for a grind could find a few achievements rewarding. In particular, getting all the wins for “Victorious Gold” could feel like an accomplishment, while the luck required to snag “Triple KOs Gold” can make it a relief to earn.
The Trophy list for Biomutant being so straightforward ensures that no Trophy will have players feeling particularly proud when unlocked, but getting all 15 Old World Gadgets is probably the closest fit. However, Mass Effect: Legendary Edition is an excellent place to find some rewarding Trophies. This is because players not only have individual lists for each game to work on, but a set of DLC Trophies that span the entire trilogy.
The highest level of each of these DLC Trophies will be satisfying to unlock. “Paramour III” will serve as a nice way to remember a player’s Mass Effect romance of choice, while killing 2,000 enemies across the games for “Veteran” will show a mastery of the combat. “Long Service Medal” rewards those who experience the full story on a single character, and it serves as an excellent way to celebrate the 100+ hours gamers will likely be putting into the three games. Lastly, there is “Insanity 3,” which doubles as one of the most difficult PlayStation Trophies from December 2022’s lineup of Essential titles since players have to beat every game on the hardest difficulty.

Though the lack of chapter select made Trophy hunts in The Callisto Protocol more annoying than they should have been, those who collect every implant bio for “Grim Reaper” will undoubtedly be glad that they didn’t miss a collectible. Playing around with a maxed out weapon after getting “You Need a Gun” is also enjoyable, and as is usually the case with the highest difficulty levels, finishing a Maximum Security playthrough for “The Protocol is About Life” is something to be proud of.
While its referential title makes “Did We Just Become Best Friends” one of the funniest Trophies from December’s games, the Marvel’s Midnight Suns achievement also marks the moment where players max out a hero’s friendship level. Given how much players likely care about the hero they chose to bond with, this should feel like a moment of triumph, as will reaching the max team level that unlocks “Friendship is Magic.” As cute as Charlie is, petting her for 15 days straight to unlock “Best Girl” is a bit tedious, and players will likely be glad to be done once it is unlocked. Surviving 3 T.H.R.E.A.T. Rooms with every character to get “T.H.R.E.A.T. Eliminated” is similarly grindy, and with players needing to go out of their way to get Maximum Dark Balance, “A Growing Darkness” is one more PlayStation Trophy that takes some work.
